ABOUT US

Whitehaven Senior Squash club was formed in the 1970s at the Sports Centre and play in the Cumbrian Leagues. We have recently had a wave of success starting in 2005 when the First Team captured the Cumbrian Men's Premier Cup. There have been many more titles since this culminating in the Premier Cup and League double in 2015. A feat never achieved by the club before. But, of course, the club isn't solely focussed on the achievements of our teams. We would like to build a club driven on the participation and enjoyment of our beloved game by all members of the community. We have a membership scheme which enables two club nights a week most weeks whereby all members can play each other to practice and socialise. Please see the 'How to Join' section for more details on membership.

We also run several competitions throughout the year, some of which are open to non members and these are detailed on the 'Open Competitions' as well as the Club's competitions for members which are listed on the 'Current Club Champions' section.
